Glen Vowell Band Council took over direct health services from Gitxsan Health Society (GHS) on April 1, 2023 and opened it's doors on Monday April 3, 2023 under the operating name, Sik-E-Dakh Health.

 

The Band Council hired an Executive Health Director, who formalized Sik-E-Dakh Health as a division of the Band; operating as a registered, non-profit society, "Sik-E-Dakh Health Society" on April 19, 2023.

The governing body of the Sik-E-Dakh Health Society is made up of members of the Glen Vowell Band Council:
