Patient Travel

Providing travel or transportation benefits for eligible First Nations clients to access medically required health services that are not available on reserve or in their community of residence.

Who we Serve

We cater to Sik-E-Dakh members who are registered as Status Indians, whether residing on or off reserve, as well as members from other bands who reside in Sik-E-Dakh. Our patient travel benefits are designed to assist individuals at any stage of their life cycle, based on their eligibility criteria set forth by Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada. In order to access FNHB benefits, clients must hold Indian status, be residents of British Columbia with valid Personal Health Numbers (PHNs), and for infants, they must be up to 24 months old, with parents possessing Indian status.
