Elaine Gunanoot, also known by her traditional name Sagayt xka Naaw, proudly calls the Gitanmaax community home as a dedicated member of the Gitxsan Nation. Born to Reginald Simon Gunanoot and Katherine Gunanoot, Elaine carries a rich heritage passed down from her paternal grandparents, Simon Peter Gunanoot and Sarah Gunanoot, as well as her maternal grandparents, Sarah Bush and Bill Bush. With a background in healthcare, Elaine previously served at Wabasca-Desmarais hospital before transitioning to her current role with the Sik-E-Dakh Health Society, where she focuses on community health and home care, embodying her commitment to the well-being of her community.
Kay Wilson
Kay Starr Wilson, a compassionate Personal Care Aide (PCA) at Sik-E-Dakh Health Society, proudly brings her unique culture perspective as a Heiltsuk and Gitxsan Woman to her work. Her journey in caregiving began between 1988 and 1994 with the acquisition of her certificate, and she continues to serve as a PCA with dedication and empathy. Kay's passion for helping and caring for her clients drives her to provide them with 100% care, striving to improve their lives everyday. Outside of her career, Kay is a proud mother of four adult children and a grandmother to nine wonderful grandchildren. She finds strength and support in her community and cultural heritage, calling the Kispiox Reserve her home.

Denise Johnson, a proud member of the Frog Clan and House Chief Mallulak, grew up in Two Mile within the Gitxsan Nation. Alongside her two brothers, she cherished her upbringing deeply rooted in Gitxsan culture. Now residing in Kispiox, Denise finds joy in spending time with her family, including her husband Alan R. Johnson, as well as her nieces and nephews. Her passion for community shines through her dedication to her job, where she finds fulfillment in helping others. With a heart full of love for her heritage and a commitment to serving her community, Denise Johnson is a beacon of strength and compassion.

Chelsea McLean, also known by her traditional name Makhlim Hanak, which translates to "Woman who walks up hill", proudly represents her Lax Se'el (Frog Clan) of Xsim Witsiin. Hailing from the Gitxsan Nation, Chelsea is deeply rooted in her culture and values, carrying forward the legacy of her ancestors.
As the daughter of Jennifer Patsey and Gordon McLean, and a loving mother to her daughter, Chelsea embodies resilience and dedication in all aspects of her life. Currently, she serves the Glen Vowell Community as a Health Care Clerk at Sik-E-Dakh Health Society, where she plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of her fellow community members.
Perry Sampson
Perry Sampson, a member of Lax Se'el (frog clan) within the Gitxsan Nation and born into the House of Nikateen, draws inspiration from his ancestral roots. Despite his mother Mercy passing away years ago, her teachings continue to shape his values. Perry has devoted his career to community well-being, serving at organizations such as the Gitxsan Health Society and Wil Sii'saatxw Treatment Centre. Now, as part of the Sik-E-Dakh Health Society, he remains committed to advancing the health and welfare of his people, honoring his lineage through his compassionate service.
Robert Wale
Robert Wale, also known as Wak Giigyet, meaning "Hard Worker," was raised in Glen Vowell, BC, where he remains deeply rooted. A dedicated father of two and a proud grandparent, he credits his strong work ethic and values to his parents, Ralph Wale Sr. and Rita Wale. From his paternal grandparents, Miriam and William Sampare, to his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Wesley, Robert draws inspiration from his family's enduring legacy of resilience and identity. Currently, he serves as a driver for the Sik-E-Dakh Band office and Sik-E-Dakh Health Society, while also working as a casual janitorial staff member.
